PLOT
Constable Ichabod Crane is sent to the small village of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of murders. Upon his arrival, he learns that all of the victims were killed in open ground and were decapitated--and that their heads were nowhere to be found. Ichabod learns of the legendary tale of the Headless Horseman, but refuses to believe that the ghost had anything to do with the murders... until he witnesses the Horseman kill one of the town's council members in front of his own eyes. With the help of Katrina Van Tassel and the young son of one of the victims, Ichabod sets out to put a final end to the gruesome murders.
